Delivered as a full design-build engagement, the project turned a raw, single-use athletic space into a retail and community environment built around a signature Card Bar with integrated display cases.
Working as the general contractor, Randahl self-performed the buildout from metal stud framing and drywall through complete electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. The finished space features Sterling Silver walls with Perle Noir ceilings, 70 feet of museum-quality display fixtures with LED lighting, and full technology integration — including fourteen 4K displays and broadcast studio equipment for live content and events.

Converting a single-use athletic space into a retail and broadcast-ready environment takes more than standard tenant improvement experience. Between custom millwork, integrated technology, and specialty finishes like Sterling Silver walls and Perle Noir ceilings, the build called for tight coordination between trades that most general contractors aren’t set up to self-perform.
Randahl Construction has spent 40+ years delivering specialty commercial space remodels throughout the Twin Cities metro and greater Minnesota. The Real Sports Cards buildout was completed on time and within budget — a result of self-performing major trades and planning technology and millwork integration from day one.
