Activar

Randahl Construction completed an industrial concrete slab installation for Activar in Eden Prairie, MN. The project involved demolishing over 2,000 square feet of existing 6-inch concrete, followed by excavation and compaction of a 12-inch Class 5 base. To ensure a controlled work area, our team built a 60′ x 120′ dust protection barrier and installed styrofoam expansion joints for isolation. Three precision concrete pads were constructed — including a 24-inch-thick structural pad — using 5,000 psi high-strength concrete with double rebar reinforcement. Each surface received a smooth trowel finish and an 8000cs sealer for long-term durability. The project was completed with full site cleanup, delivering a precise and lasting result for Activar’s operations.
