Randahl Construction delivered high-quality commercial concrete demolition and structural concrete modifications for Calspan Aero Systems Engineering’s Channel 20 testing facility in Plymouth, Minnesota. Serving as a key construction partner, our team executed critical infrastructure upgrades designed to support ultimate end-user Rolls Royce. To minimize disruption to active, sensitive aerospace testing operations, the project required precise, stage-by-stage coordination and rigorous dust and safety controls. Our experienced crew self-performed and managed the heavy demolition of existing slab foundations and underground utility piping, followed by precise site excavation and grading. We then strategically placed high-strength industrial concrete foundations, including a specialized hush house structural slab, a blower motor foundation, trench drains, and deep catch basin installations. This project highlights our capability to deliver technical, heavy industrial concrete solutions strictly to blueprint specifications while meeting tight security and scheduling windows.
